11 Weeks

Yep there it is, my 11 week bump, all 5 months looking of it! This photo was commented on by nearly everyone saying 'twins'

I've been feeling it move for over a week now, usual little flutters, but a few rolls/wriggles too. (Yes I do know the difference between wind and baby)

I rang the midwife last week after a very very VERY emotional morning (no good reason my eyes were just crying for 2 hours!) and asked her if I could get an earlier scan, she said know, even if I hadn't had a 'true' period they still had to go from that day. I asked then if it was normal to feel baby move so early on, her answer? HER ANSWER?! "If there's more than one in there it's totally normal" I cried lots again. Don't get me wrong, it'll be what it'll be and I'll be happy about it, I just need to knoooooow what I'm dealing with, I am a huge, self confessed, control freak and so far this pregnancy is pushing me way out of my comfort zone!

So June 17th 9:45 am ish, is when I will be gaining a tiny bit of control back and I can't flipping wait!

Other than that, I had 2 weeks of feeling tired but not sick, then on Sunday night out of nowhere my sickness came back and wiped me out for the next 48 hours. I remember something simular from being pregnant with T, I had 4 days of just being a nauseous lump in bed asleep!

I'm hoping it lifts next week, I just feel useless! No appetite, just eating to eat during the day, then on a night I'm starving and baby just wants melted cheese! So tired I can only make plans for half a day so I have the other half to recover, and a fun filled emotional wreck! So many spots (probably from all the melted cheese) unquenchable thirst (8 pints in one day the other week!) and sciatica already.

Ahhh the glamour of pregnancy! The things we go through to grow these little people we love!

  1. Oh bless you!!! Everyone told my mum they thought she was having twins when she was preg with me- but it was just coz I was a big bugger!
I am the least patient person so I really feel for you having to wait! Just take it a day at a time and eventually it will come around and you'll forget how it ever felt before you knew! Good luck!! Xxx
